What's The Difference?
Most newcomers start with the group - it gives you more support, more access, and a more affordable path to clarity.
Why group mentoring works so well
Many newcomers are used to one-on-one support, but group mentoring gives you direct access to me plus a community of people going through the same challenges.
You get faster learning, shared insight, emotional support, and consistent guidance — at a fraction of the cost.
Meet Your Coach
_edited.jpg)
I'm Kristina McPherson (PMP), Canadian Immigrant Life Coach and author of the book, "From Foreign Student to Canadian Citizen and Everything in Between".
When I moved from Jamaica to Canada as an international student, I had no roadmap, just determination and a dream. Within five years, I became a Canadian citizen, but the journey wasn't easy. I faced visa rejections, isolation, and all the confusion that comes with starting over in a new country.
That experience became the foundation of my work. Today, I help immigrants and newcomers eliminate confusion, avoid costly mistakes, and make confident decisions about studying, working, and building a life in Canada. Through real stories, practical tools, and group coaching, I've helped thousands find clarity, community, and confidence on their Canadian journey.
My mission is simple: to help you go from surviving to thriving, emotionally, financially, and practically, as you build a life you're proud of in Canada.
Testimonials
Danny Q, Worker & Student
"When I landed in Canada, I've being receiving so much support from you. Connecting me to potential employers, inviting me to community programs and all that. These supports have given me information I would have gotten anywhere if I was alone. Also, I feel I have a sense of belonging here, skills development etc."
Hachelle D, Student
"Hi Kristina,
I really appreciate all your efforts!
Firstly, I really enjoy the connection and encouragement within the community, where individuals share their experiences. Secondly, the content is awesome, and all the resources provided are beneficial and informative.
In terms of support, right now, I would appreciate mentorship and guidance career-wise."
Racquel N, Student
"I would say for me, it is information. My head has been so buried in school and life that I am not always keeping up with immigration or the little things that one can do to improve one's chances. I definitely love the videos of people sharing their stories because there is value in every one of them.
I would say the videos and our calls. Those have been most valuable to me."
