You are HERE! Yay! I am excited to hear that and am proud of you for taking that leap! I hope you are doing well and settling into the Canadian society seamlessly.
I know Permanent Residency is a little of a waiting game alongside “point building” activities like getting your Post Graduate Work Permit and securing a skilled job that will count towards your Express Entry points. Is the question of having enough points by the end of your permit a question in your mind? Or is the new express entry category change worrying or confusing you?
I recall this phase of the immigration process being a bit nerve-wracking for me and my classmates as we asked ourselves the same questions. (Spoiler alert: it ended well for us and none of the ones I know were sent back home.) Just a few weeks ago, I spoke to a class of students who had the same concerns.
I have been working on a number of resources and tools to help support you and others just like you on your immigration journey.
There are a couple of free events coming up that you can plug into to remain motivated and answer any burning questions you may have at the moment.
